Marine Trades Association Referral Scholarship – The Landing School / Industry Collaboration

Marine Trades Association Referral Scholarship

Finding skilled workers has always been a challenge for the marine industry and The Landing School graduates skilled workers every May. An opportunity to send a promising employee (or that summer employee who shows interest) to The Landing School will help build your capacity. We are celebrating 40 years of leadership in the marine industry with educational programs in Wooden Boat Building, Composite Boat Building, Marine Systems and Yacht Design. Our ACCSC accredited 8-month programs begin in September and complete by early May so your employee will be back in time for the peak season.

Each student referred by a member of a partnered Marine Trades Association is eligible for a $500 tuition discount. They may also be eligible for other scholarships offered by the school. To nominate a candidate, register them here and indicate your name and your Marine Trades Association in the referral field, or have them start an application. Employers are asked to provide a letter of recommendation for the student by email or mail, 286 River Rd, Arundel, ME 04046.

For Fall 2019, The Landing School will also match specific student scholarships provided by members of partnered Marine Trades Associations to sponsor students accepted to The Landing School. For more information, please contact [email protected] or call 207-985-7976.
