The American Boat Builders and Repairers Association (ABBRA) and The Landing School are collectively hosting a free regional roundtable discussion on Tuesday August 25th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at The Landing School in Arundel, ME. This regional roundtable is open to both ABBRA members and non-members.
ABBRA roundtables offer a chance for similar marinas, boatyards, and boat building and repair businesses to discuss common problems and solutions within the marine industry. These frank discussions between boatyards and marinas provide excellent networking opportunities and are extremely valuable for working toward solving common issues.
The issues discussed at the roundtable are determined by the participants and can include boatyard economics, managing busy season workloads, training employees, and new yard technologies. The participants decide the direction of this facilitated conversation, leading to candid dialogue about contemporary boat building and repair issues.
